Melissa Fetterman lives in Punxsutawney. She works full-time for the Jefferson County Assistance Office and writes freelance on a part-time basis. Although she has been writing her entire life, Melissa has only been writing seriously for publication for the past decade, during which she has had more than 400 pieces published, including short stories, small-town feature stories, environmental and non-profit organization informational pieces and poetry. In 2001, while residing in Warren County, PA, she was voted "Best News Reporter in Warren County" by area locals.
