The 2005 Four Footed Friends Calendar. This calendar is full-color and features a variety of pet photos and vendor
advertisements throughout. We were given all of the elements. We edited and color adjusted all of the photos. We
polished all of the ads. And we provided FFF with a QuarkXpress file and a PDF file that they then gave to their printer.
We were paid by the hour to work on this project.
The 2004 Reynoldsville Homecoming Tabloid produced by The Courier-Express in DuBois, PA. We were hired to provide all
of the editorial content and photographs used in this tabloid. We were given a budget and a wish list for this project.
We then distributed the work to our freelancers.
The 2003 Small Town Life Punxsutawney Tabloid which was a Groundhog Day insert in the Punxsutawney Spirit Newspaper in
Punxsutawney, PA. We worked with the publisher of the newspaper to create a Tabloid that would be of interest to their
readers. We provided all of the editorial, all of the graphics, all of the photos, and all of the layout and pre-press
for this project. It was then given to the newspaper on a cd in both QuarkXpress and PDF formats. We were paid with
advertising revenue for this project.
The 2005 H&R Block Employee Recipe Book. This project was done for a small office that wanted to create a year
book/recipe book for their season-end office party. Each employee gave a recipe and a photo of themselves. The photos
and recipes were then formatted into a recipe book. We printed out 50 of these books in our office using a laser printer
and a copy machine. The QuarkXpress and PDF files were ready and could have been taken to a commercial printer - but the
client did not have a budget for that final step.
2003, 2004, and 2005 - The Professional Leadership Development Alliance's monthly newsletters. The PLDA organization is a
local chapter of the National Management Association and was formerly a chapter of IMC. This local group uses a monthly
newsletter printed on legal paper, folded in half twice, taped closed and mailed to their members each month. As per
their request, these newsletters are created in word so that they can be passed around to their executive board to be
updated. We also create a PDF file for them for their members who prefer to view the newsletter through e-mail or on
the organization's website. Some articles and photos are provided; and some we create for them.
The 2005 Leadership Development Series Brochure. This brochure was designed to promote a series of presentations on
leadership sponsored by the Professional Leadership Development Alliance in the spring of 2005. It was created from
scratch.
